To My Donor

It was always so much more than just your choice to donate.

It was the way you showed up—the intentional care you took long before we ever met on paper.

You didn’t just fill out a form to get through the process; you took the time to tell a story.

I could feel your personality shining through the screen, choosing your words with a kindness and a candid honesty that I know will one day mean the world to my child.

Thank you for being so thoughtful from the very start, and for choosing the photos that leave such a clear trail— from your own baby pictures to the person you are now.

Because you are a mother yourself, I could feel that you understood the weight of what we were doing.

It helped me see that we are two ends of the same bridge, both focused on the life that was yet to come.

I will provide the daily life, the love, and the harbor, but you provided the essential biological blueprint.

I promise to keep every detail of that foundation clear, [00:01:00] honest, and ready—not as a secret I hold, but as a history that my child has every right to own.

I am forever thankful.
